A warm Darwin welcome to Christine Padalino who recently joined the group.
A few words from Christine introducing herself:
“Hello! My name is Christine Padalino, and I am a first-year Master’s student in Mick Follows’ lab. I just graduated from MIT as an undergraduate with a double major in Chemical Engineering and Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences. For my undergraduate thesis, I worked in Susan Solomon’s lab to evaluate the time of emergence of heatwaves due to climate change. I will be taking the year to complete my master’s, where my thesis will investigate the relationship between mesoscale eddy features and oceanic pCO2 and CO2 flux. My general research interests lie in the changing interactions between the ocean and climate.”
Excited to have you with us, Christine!
